Polly Dawson is a photographer specializing in fine art, nude, fashion and fitness photography. Born in the UK, Polly is currently based in Akumal, Tulum, Mexico. She studied and worked in fashion in London and Paris, most notably as a designer for Jean Paul Gaultier.

“I’m inspired by contrast: light VS shadow, hard VS soft, wildness VS control. All themes that I explore come back to a push and pull between opposing forces. The resulting feeling of tension, the tipping point between extremes, creates what I call Fierce Beauty. I search for it in every person that I photograph. Precarious but authentic, vital, and ultimately human AF, I’m fascinated by all the Parts of the people that I photograph.”
